If you are into mucis, dj'ing and such I would say Mac.. Gaming and so I think a pc.. and netbook is that rly something you need? :P

And PS: I just read the first post and I think you should go and get a MaC! :D

Mac's are probably best for web design etc.
Hmm but also in scripting I guess you do a lot of copying and pasting.
So if you're used to pushing control + c,v then get a PC
If you're used to pushing command+c,v then get a mac.

I think Mac's are better. I like the color display.

What if someone is used to both? :p

@ont: mac

PC Will always be superior to the over priced Macs that claim to "revolutionize" technology doing things that PC has been doing for years. You are getting suckered for your money if you fall into the trap. I am speaking from the veiw of a tech guy. Sure Macs are fine for people that don't know shit about computers (they are just getting ripped off).

Mac is the best..
It will always be better than windows.. in any way possible!

It's just awesome :)

Lol no wonder your an idiot.

I never have problems with Windows, like made out in the image lol. Only idiots that don't know how to use them don't get the full use out of them and that's the way it should be. Don't want idiots like 5mok3 using them :)

Windows and MAC are not idiot proof!
Linux is idiot proof!

ONT:
I pick PC. I won't pay to use an Unix based (OS) computer!

I think technically PC's are better. But MAC's look more stylish. And have a better display <colors etc>

PC is getting my vote. Only not handy when you need it for a portable solution. I have a Desktop and a Mini-laptop. Perfectly for having the strenght at home and light-weight usage at school (or other places). When it comes to Mac computers I dont beleve that it has the best hardware and software. You can use Ubuntu (Linux) instead of Mac OSX. Ubuntu is free and works better than Windows and is almost the same as Mac. I have my Desktop and Mini-laptop running Ubuntu Desktop edition and works like a charm.

So if you want the best? Buy a Desktop PC and Mini-laptop for the Ultimate Strenght and portability!

Wodian,,

As a web developer using Mac, running Windows 7 through a virtual machine I can honestly say I would pick Mac six out of seven days a week. Don't get me wrong, it is not like I have only run Windows through a virtual machine. Definitely not. I have been a Windows user all of my life basically. I have now been using Mac for the past 5 months and there's really nothing I haven't been able to solve yet (that I disliked that is).

One downfall for Mac is that there is no Tibia client available. I don't know about you, but luckily for me - I rarely play. However, this will change shortly once the new flash client is released. Another downfall though, as someone mentioned - is that you have to pay for a lot of products (unless you settle for slightly to a lot worse software).

Either way, Mac is great. If you do decide to go with Mac, a few web developing tools I could recommend are; Coda (Simply brilliant! There's no software even close to Coda in Windows! It is simplicity itself (both design-wise and use-wise), yet it is EXTREMELY powerful with integrated SVN GUI Client, FTP Client using the Transmit engine, Console and a lot of other great features). If you are not a one-software guy, you may also find the actual Transmit FTP Client amazing. For SVN you have Versions, which also is amazingly great! To access your databases you have something called Sequel or Sequel Pro - works like a charm as well. For the webserver, you would probably be easier off with MAMP.

Those are just the softwares that I use (yes I have actually purchased a license for each and every one of those. Kudos for me! (; ).

By the way, a great software to run Windows (or any other OS for that matter) virtually would be Parallels Desktop, might want to check that out!
