New Magic Effects

Hey all
i got a 8.10 sql server and wanna add new magic effects with new sprites to my Otserv.
i already edited the tibia.spr/.dat so the sprites are implented .. so the question is do i only need to edit global.lua for a sql server or do i need to edit any sources.. cos i cant find some?
if yes how?

The only thing you need to do is to add the item into items.xml and items.otb and ofc .dat and .spr afte that paste the new spr and dat to your client

Well, i know how to change them ^^ i already did that .. but i want to add more with new sprites so i still have the old ones ... and that doesnt work with just implenting them xP but atm im trying to compile a bit with dev-c++ and later i'll tell if it worked
