new vocation not staying

I made a vocation 13 as a "rookstayer" and made a script to change from none to rookstayer and it works, but if the character logs off and then logs back on they go back to no vocation, why is this? All of the other vocations stay like they should.

Do you use doPlayerSetVocation, or doPlayerSetPromotionLevel?

I used doPlayerSetVocation, I just now tried doPlayerSetPromotionLevel and it didnt change the players vocation at all

nevermind doPlayerSetPromotionLevel worked and the vocation stayed, thank you again Cykotitan!

Could you show entry from vocations.xml? That would help finding out the problem.
