Nostalgia Project

Hello guys...

Trying to add some variation to the creatures on the server:

nostalgia can also be the feeling you had when entering tibia back then. Well if this is it for you then thats great.

I think you have some nice ideas.

#2 Monsters with Level

To bring more excitement and increase the feeling of danger as players explore the world, all monsters on the server have a small chance of spawning in a stronger version. Monsters on the server are classified as follows:

Regular
Angry
Furious
Enraged
Madly Enraged

But, as you'd expect, every risk comes with some reward. Players who face and defeat these monsters will be rewarded with more experience, in addition to a chance to obtain bonus loot and a special reward box.

Golden Backpack: bonus loot;
Runic Present Box: rewards who opens with runes;
Jeweled Present Box: rewards who opens with jewelry;
Golden Present Box: rewards who opens with money.

*the bonus loot chances increase with the strength of the killed monster.
*the reward from special boxes depends on the score calculated at the moment the monster died.

Once you've defeated a monster and collected a special box, you can open it to collect your reward. You can open it multiple times, but each time you open it, the chance of getting something drops drastically. It is possible to know how many times the special box has already been opened:

that stuff with extra loot looks neat gonna steal that idea, might make it a little different though.

Not a very accurate statement, since nostalgia is defined by the feeling linked to past actions, but I understood your point. So, in my case, even though the server is not 100% the same as Tibia in the 2000s, the feeling of playing it (at least for me) is the same.

The last features ive worked on are the Bestiary module for OTCv8 and a solution to mages mana siting. I need to share this here with you guys. I`ll try to do it soon.
 
Bestiary Module on Client

The bestiary system is one of the first systems i have developed on my project... After a long time, i finally managed to have my own module on the client (thanks to RONDEL that developed it for me). And this is how it looks:

The module have some features to help players to organize it.
The first feature is the search input, that gives the player the option to filter creatures:

The module also gives the player the option to favorite and unfavorite creatures. The favorited creatures will alwats be shown on top of the rest:

In the same way, the module also gives the player the option to enable and disable the messages feedbacks in console:

Also, if the player click the creature portrait, the module will send the creature bestiary complete information:

Another cool feature in the module is the option to share your progress with other players by simply clicking in the creature progress bar:

Currently, there are several servers using the same bestiary module. I decided that I wanted to have my own module, the way I imagined it would be. And honestly, I think it looks much better, haha. What did you think?
