How do i use storagevalue to be able to use the trade function?

If you have xxx Storagevalue then you can say trade and the trade window appers, if you say trade without the storage he should just give you an answer and not open the trade window.

I've tried for several hours and can't get it to work.

Any suggestions?

You need have trade system in lua file, and then you can manage it. If you use TFS you can find this trade system in lua in file "example82.lua".
