Nuke? questions...

I host a server, and sometimes the same guy says that will nuke me and that he is upping shells.

I have doubts.. sometimes.. works and other times his nuke attack don t work...

When it works my pc gets slowly...

1)why pc slow?
2)how works this kind of nuke attack?
3)how to avoid it?
4) what is up shells?

1. Your CPU can't handle so many connections.
2. There are several different types of these attacks. Fur further reference, see Denial-of-service attack
3. There are ways to protect yourself, but none are really efficient
4. Uploading shell is an act of uploading a script file with malicious code that is designed to disable the target server or reveal passwords to the hacker.
