Old client accept newer .dat and .spr!

Is it possible to make and old client accept newers Tibia.dat and Tibia.spr, since the newers have 4 bytes ?

Maybe if you like... used tibiaeditor or something, you could merge the new with the old?

But if I want to run the original .dat and .spr ??

Because I've changed some things to an old client, but the problem now is, the newers .dat and .spr are 4 bytes
and old clients only accept 2 bytes, my question is, if it's possible to make old clientes accept the newer files (.dat and .spr) by changing with Ollydbg

Use this: http://otland.net/f19/tidus-spr-editor-v1-5-a-162171/ To extract the sprs and when you do it go into the folder and you will see dat.dat. <-- if i remeber right. That is the one which define the tibia.spr version. So take it out put it on the other folder a compile the sprs.

About the dat, use dat editor export the sprs and import on the old dat.
