Continuing our "more frequent releases" program, OTServ version 0.6.1b* has been released! With full 8.4 support!
0.6.1b was submitted just a day later, fixing two quite critical issues.
A) Updated SQLite database was not included (I'm sorry Khaos, I deserve your upcoming admonitions)
B) Two crash bugs with party channel, stability should now be excellent once again.
You should report any bugs found using the Project Tools.
Linux (and advanced Windows) users should look at the wiki page to get instructions on how to compile OTServ manually.

Some improvements have been made, here is the complete change log:
- 8.4 support, support for OTBM 2 (with waypoints), party channel etc.
- All (?) 8.4 monstes, spells etc. are included. Most items as well.
- Database optimizations.
- Fixed bug with containers not working properly (net bug)
- Distance weapons are now interrupted by walking
- You can now only equip one shield at a time.
- Correct weapon damage formula (well, probably correct)
- Fixed visual error with items with durations.
- Improvements to status protocol (can now query server distro)
- House rent fix
- Fixed bug with players not saving if you had a VIP was deleted will the server was online.
- You can now specify dropEmpty on loot containers
- Resistances now stack multiplicatively
- 0 shielding now means you have 0 defense (for berserk spell)
- Pacified condition added.
- config.lua now accept booleans as "yes"/"no", true/false and 1/0
- Add money now works correctly for stacks with over 100cc
- Red skull duration is now configureable
- Pathfinding now works properly for use with... on far away objects.
- Shop exploit fix
- Several other small fixes
- Fixed some crash bugs
- Fixed a few memory leaks
