does Emails with underline work on this script?

if ($payment_status == "Completed" & $receiver_email == "[email protected]" & $mc_gross == "##.##") {

i was wondering because the script has some underlines, and if i add one in my Emails the script may not work correctly.

i put [email protected] for example


my question is: my Email need to be without underline so paypal System work correctly?
