Text Effect [Photshop Tutorial] Gold text effect

Hello and welcome to my first tutorial about photoshop
here I'll show you how to make a text effect like this one below here.

I hope you find it usefull

oke, let's start now.

---------Begin tutorial--------------

The outcome:

Step 1: First make a new document set the settings
like here or something else if you want that.

Step 2: Make the background black. Now type some text, I've used the font martel, size 72 pt and color: #ff9c00

Step 3: Now you go to the 'Blendings options'
(layer >> layer style >> Blendings options)


Step 4: Now you must take those options below here.

(color used: #927007)

(color used: #fff000)

(color used: #ffff00)

(color used: #000000 and #000000)

Step 5: If you followed everything above then you will have the same result as me:

You are done now i hope you liked it and ofcourse you can change the settings if you want to change the effect just try new things and you can also decorate it with little stars or something.

How is this related to tibia?

Simple tutorial, but good for newbies. Would be easier for the newbies to just load an "already-made-style", which there is plenty of in photoshop, and they could just adjust the colors.

I used Photoshop CS2 to make this, but I think you can use older or newer versions.
