basically, iv opened port 7171, iv got a static ip, and my friends still cant connect, and yes iv gave them the ip from What Is My IP Address? - IP Address Lookup, Internet Speed Test, IP Info, plus more or w/e the site is, :S help please?

Make sure the port is opened for 7171 - TCP and UDP (Both if possible), also open them in your firewall. When that part is done, your friends and players from around the world will be able to join.

Turn windows Firewall off instead, it's just a waste of CPU\memory.
And did you have Norton\F-secure?

i tryed turning it off, and no i dont use them
and also, when i type my global ip into my browser, it just brings up my router website.

You don't need a virtual firewall. It's unnecessary. The physical firewall inside your router\modem takes care of that, the only thing you need after that is an anti-virus program.

Are you sure you filled in your WAN ip (aka. global ip, the ip you get when visiting sites like What Is My IP Address? - IP Address Lookup, Internet Speed Test, IP Info, plus more) into the config.lua file, and not your LAN IP (192.168.2.XXX)?

Try temporarily disabling any firewall application you have installed, aswell as windows firewall, see if that works.

Also make sure the port in config.lua is 7171 and not 7172 or something.

Did you try just turning it off? Go on http://www.portforwarding.com and find your router there and press Tibia.. They will show you how to open the port tibia, and if you're doing exactly what they says, it will work.
