Hey,
I'm just having a kind of annoying problem with my laptop when trying to format / install windows xp.
The CD im using is used 5 times before so theres nothing wrong with the CD itself.
When im starting the installer its loading all files, but when its starting up i get error saying that the installer encountered a problem and that i should remove any newly installed drivers and check for Viruses, and that i should run CHKDSK /f in command prompt.
Error code: 0x0000007B
Wich ive done and it didnt find any corruption on the hard drive.
As for viruses i have scanned with Avast / SpyBot SD.
(It was my relatives PC, and he didnt have antivirus :] )
Ofcourse it found alot of shiet but mostly trojans etc, and theyre removed.
Problem still remains. Any ideas (Except trash it
) ?
EDIT: Im currently using vista in the computer and it runs perfectly.
