Problem with save

I'm gonna make a war server but I have one problem, I have put save 0 on my chars but they still save when they relogg/die... Anyone know why? :s

Oh and a little info; I was using 0.3.6 and it was working, the chars didnt save but 0.3.6 wasnt rly good for 8.60 so I'm using 0.4 instead, and in 0.4 the chars still save when I set save to 0

savePlayerData = false

hmm that didnt work, still saves players, I try throwing out a backpack and relogging, the char is supposed to still have the backpack but it doesnt.
