Some of these are ideas, some are from other servers (small remakes)

why not give him some pointers to help him improve? the mapping board is dry as it is allready, no need to scare away new mappers.

On topic: try looking at some other mappers how they make stuff, maybe look at some tutorials. but the most important thing is keep mapping, keep practicing and in the end you'll be allright! start small ,don't try to make big hard pieces at the start! also on the second pic the tree is inside the mountain (try to avoid this :p), metal borders on top of the mountain doesnt fit, try some more natural borders.

just keep working/practicing :)
good luck

+1 for the person who removed the post, good to see that these kind of posts finally get deleted.

@Pwnzer
When making nature, best is to make it in a way how nature looks like in real or could look like.
A waterfall with such a small amount of water at the top is not possible, so rather make it come from a river or outside a mountain (so you don't see the river inside the mountain).

As @Limos said, but also try to keep the bordering only somewhat straight.
also I don't know what the area with the waterfall is supposed to be but it doesn't make any sense for it's purpose.

@Hooloovoo also this goes for anyone else out there, any more stupid comments that do not help the mapper (e.g constructive criticism) will be deleted and you could receive a warning as you did with your previous posts.

Mapping is definitely something that is dying on OtLand, we need more and the only way to do that is to give constructive criticism and help out as much as possible.

I recomman just start using raw materials, it opens new ideas and map shapes. Sure you can use terrain and dopdad, but the borders, try raw them:)

I promise you will find mapping more enjoyable once you understood different variations of raw shapes.:)
