I know you guys have a lot of ideas for the map and stuff, but next time you are mapping I was thinking and it would be nice if there was like a ultimate vocation quest where you need one player of each vocation and during the quest they have to separate and go in there own paths with different mazes and stuff with challenging obstacles for each vocation to handle on there own and at the end have of each of the own vocations path have a lever for each vocation that only that vocation can pull no other vocation can reach it, so if one fails they all fail but if they all make it and pull each ones lever then a portal or door appears and have like one final boss for the team to kill or something.

I don't know I was just typing thoughts as they came. If you ever do a quest like this just be creative or something.

The Penatonic

I made a quest like this on my ot server once and it was cool i had a story line behind it. This is kind of how it was on my ot.

When you start the quest first you would have to talk to an npc he would ask each vocation for an item.

Player: hi

Npc: Hello "player" Which vocation are you?

Player: Knight

Npc: Ah yes the brute strength of the fierce warrior.

If you could I would love for you to bring me the bone

of a demon! I would reward you of course, would you be

up to this challenge? (The npc wants a Demonbone Amulet)

Player: yes

Player: hi

Npc: Have you brought me what I ask for?

Player: yes

Npc: Thank you! What? You thought I would reward you?

Ha! I banish you to the void. (Player gets tped into the actual quest part)

I had it like this with every vocation just different

items were needed. When the player was sent into the

quest part the four people would end up in a room with

a sign when you read it would say it was written by

people before them who did this quest and decided to

leave behind signs (the reason for signs is because

letters or thing like that would be removed if there

was a map clean) and the signs would serve as hints on

how get through the quest. The way I had it was that

the people who left the signs knew as much as the

people doing the quest because logically they wouldn't

be able to know more than the player doing the quest

if he is reading the sign get it? Kind of confusing

but not a hard concept because both teams past and

present are at the same place and have the same

knowledge. I mostly at first put it to where the team

stayed together till about half way trough the quest

and then they would separate. This one part of the

quest was really cool but took me forever to get

finish with and this was while the team was together.

Basically there were 60 rooms and each room had 2

teleporters that led to another room and it was all

random that means if you were in room 5 and you went

to trough one tp you would be in room 48 but if you

went in another you would be in room 15 you know?

Something like that. I also had monsters in every

room, fairly hard monsters my server was a 10x exp so

wasn't like crazy hard monsters but pretty hard

monsters like 4-5 demons in one room or a minishabaal

or maybe a bunch of warlocks something like that in

every room and I put some fairly hard bosses in there

aswell. In every room i mapped a number on the floor

with white tile or something like that so you would

know what room you were in and the object of this

quest was to get to the room 60. The hard part of

making this part of this quest was setting the pathway

points for the teleports that took a while. Anyways so

things like this was what you had to do lots of mazes

and things I also had a riddler like the one quest in

real tibia but the question were fairly easy of

general knowledge.

After the vocations split up the would be on their own

till the last part of the quest and basically every

vocation had to survive the trials the faced do they

could pull their levers because if someone died and

wasn't able to pull their lever then the whole quest

was a waste of time and has to be redone from the

beginning. I had it to where there were four boulder

things that were blocking a hallway and when you

pulled one lever one boulder would disappear and one

all levers were pulled then the four players at the

end of there paths would tp to the hallway which had

the boulders and they could all pass because the

boulders were gone but if one didn't make it I had a

tp that lead out of the quest. If they all made it

they would all go down that hallway and be inside a

room with one teleporter and it would lead to the

final monster (The hardest monster on my ot was an

edited demon which the name of it was Desperidious)

and when you killed him another tp would appear and

this teleporter would take you to the prize room and

had some hardcore stuff in there.

This was how my ultimate vocations quest was and the

name of my quest was The Penatonic. A lot of work but

really cool. And don't think I did the scripting for

all that I had someone else do it for me but besides

that I mapped it all and stuff like that.

dude jgarder hasn't worked on his ot in a looong time so don't expect anything great from him

i mean for the last few weeks people couldn't each change their outfit because it caused bugs lmfao..and now addons still don't work
