hey guys im new here and i dont think this is the right place to post it but mhm sorry anyway

i downlaoded a data pack and i didnt find an opening .exe to run the server

how can i create one or where could i find it ? :S

the data pack doesn't actually have the server, for example you get the server pack, and inside is a data folder. I guess you should goto forums, find resources and find server distributions and download one suitable to the client you want. I recommend using a TFS version (the forgotten server) as they are normally easy to handle and maintain, especially for someone new like yourself.

this is datapack directory Please goto the distrubitions area and download the forgotten server for 8.54 ( Gui ) or console

So download this server from distributions or search tfs 8.54 (GUI)

A data pack is just for items/monsters etc the components that go into the server.
You need the actual server download, and inside each server there is a datapack. The datapack you downloaded is fine, just download a server and within that file place the datapack you previously downloaded and replace the files as it asks. And voila done

my problem now is i replaces all the files by mine i got in data file that i downloaded
it says : lua5.1.dll isnt on my computer

what shell i do now :O?

google.co.uk and search lua5.1.dll , and if the other .dll files are missing do the same or find them in this forum somewhere
