Hello Everyone:

First of all i'd like to present myself. I'm Mario a 24 years old guy, currently studying informatic engineering who has been related to Tibia wold since 2006. Said that, i have decided to start a project with 3 classmates about making our own custom server based on Tibia.

We do not have any particular knowledge on OTs world, but we are motivated, and we know we are able to make our project come to live. So the reason of this thread, it's to get some things clear before starting.

  • What version would you think it's better to start working in?. Why?
  • What C++ skill are required to customize OTClient?.
  • What tennical things you think are better to solve before starting with game enviorment, monsters, story, etc?.
Also, any tip you may give me would be more appreciated. As programmer i'm i already know this will not be a short project, so i'm thinking about 2 years to develop our idea.
