NPC [request] 9.44 npc system

I cannot, for the life of me, get this 9.44 (mystic spirit) server to work. I've tried using old systems (8.54 and 8.6), including the data/lib folder, data/npc folder and data/talkactions folder.

Even the 9.44 npcs that came with the distro release don't work for me.

Any help?
