[Request] Mods tutorial

Hello forum, im currently creating a custom rog ot and I would like to add a svargrond arena as well as other nice events. I read somewhere a post about mods and I just wanted a bit more info on basically what is and how I can add them to my server.

Im using crying damson 8.6 distro btw ++rep

Hello. Actually there is no MODs tutorial.
I don't know why, but my server has MOD folder but they do not work, and I want to start making and using MODs.

Can someone make a tuto?

Someone know a good editor to edit MODs?
They are confusing and compilers/editors get confused because it is a mix between xml/lua

Gunmetal, to use Mod just download the mod in .xml file and put in the folter MOD inside the folder of the OTServ.

Then, restart the server (or use the command /reload mods) and be happy

if their is no folder mods your otserv prolly does not support them, but yours does
