Request on how to make an website with CS4?

How do you make an Website with CS4? I always wonder how do you make an website with CS4. I just want to make layouts. I like to think and create new stuff.

With Adobe Photoshop CS4? Start playing around with the Rectangular marquee tool. If you don't know the basics of photoshop you should learn it. Layers is something you should know as well.

I made this basic layout just to show you how I work:

I always start with the header, pick a color for it, mark it with the rectangular marquee tool and fill it with the color you've chosen. Next thing I did was to create the content boxes where the news will appear. Once again I used the recangular marquee tool to create a big square which I divided in two pieces and filled it with a brighter color. And I did the same thing with the side bar to the right... After this I made the menu and once again used the rectangular marquee tool and the effects I used was some shadowing and gradient overlay...

This layout was not planned and I did just improvise... Planning is a great thing to do if you're gonna create a serious web-layout.

If this layout is to advanced for you, I suggest you to just start reading some photoshop tutorials which you can find with a little help from google
