Windows RME Importing issue,

Hello, ive been wanting to add custom areas, or even parts of the RL map, to another map.

Im running The Forgotten Server - Version 0.2 (Mystic Spirit).


The original map i want to import and add stuff to opens and works fine. I can smart merge the city or town i want onto that map, but when i save it, and go to restart my server i get

Invalid OTBM version, and then it just crashs.


I also use RME 1.1.8 the newest updated verstion (i set it to 8.4)

And the editor im trying to get away from that currently is the only one that works for my server is

OTMapEditor-0.54_840


Any ideas are strongly welcomed,

Why would i need to upgrade to 8.5 to import? and be able to save my map and have it work?

It has to be possible, theres no way penis and them hand mapped venore, edron, and various places of the Roxors map...

As a personal preference for now atleast, im going to stick to 8.4

But my problem still stands, I want to import a part of a RL map (8.4) to another map thats (8.4) and then save it and have it work on TFS 2 aqua mystic.. Im using the newest version of remeres 1.1.8

Try not using the 1.1.8 version of RME? I still have the 1.1.7 version (Or whatever was directly in front of 1.1.8) and I can copy from 8.4 to 8.4 with no issues.

You're using an outdated server, and that's causing the problem. TFS 0.2 is not able to load 8.4 maps saved with RME 1.1.3 or higher, since it doesn't support OTBMv2.
Upgrading to http://otland.net/f18/8-5-forgotten-server-v0-2-4-mystic-spirit-39286/ should fix the problem.
