Well, I have no screenshots of this issue. But when I go to File --> New map, it shows no map, only a small 3x3 with the little bars that move the map around, and they don't even work.
And, when I start RME it's fine, and I can make a map. But no hotkeys work, like the scrolling to make the map bigger or smaller in view, just scrolls the map down farther. And, the top of the map..has a bar that has nothing on it, and looks very ugly, cuts off half of the map view so I can't see it, and it's very annoying.
