Hi, I don't know if this is the right board to write on but anyway, he friend asked me in school today about open-tibia servers, and if he's able to host and so on (in fact, he doesnt know much about hosting at all), I followed him home, and, he told me he has got a router but he doesn't know how to access it or something, I tried the usual ip adresses for routers like "192.168.0.1" It worked, but then he had to enter a password, (He has a router, dlink)
I tried to login with: Admin/password. (Didnt work)
I tried to login with: Admin/blank. (didn't work)
And I tried and tried, but never got in, so probably he has a password on it. He told me that, a guy was at his home and fixing everything for him, installing the router, and so on.
So probably, the guy has changed the password and he cant contact that guy which installed everything, so here's the deal:
I told him to reset the router, (He didnt want to, because he doesn't have knowledge about how to configure it later etc) and, then he asked if there's any program that can portforward the ports 7171 for him.... In fact, I dont have a clue at all so I decided to ask here, is there any program that can port forward for you? Or can detect the password without resetting it or something?
Hope I'll get an answer on this.
