What kind of maps do you guys like? I personally like RPG maps, they give more of a meaning and challenge to the game. Just post your answer and a quick post of why you picked your answer :) My team is debating on weather to make an RPG map, or a highrates map..

And also, whats the best name for an RPG OT. I have : Akaidia.

@Sublime, yea thats what i meant about "RPG" :) anyways, thanks for the response.

@nwtr, yea i tried one of those, but there are so many that is VERY hard to get it to be successful.
 
RPG for sure!
It's the whole reason why I like OTS so much.. It's almost like playing a whole new game.
I see no reason to play a realmap server when there are a lot of CipSoft servers that are actually updated by CipSoft instead of people trying to make it look like it is CipSoft's server....

I hope you understand what I mean, I'm extremely tired xD

Exacly the same answear as I would have :P

A map that's custom, not a RL map. People get's more excited if your map would be 100% custom. (As I saw in your other thread, you tried to make a RL-Map fun, but did not became successful, and the reason was: RL-Map).

A good hint is that you try to play at those servers who have 500+ players and see what players now days make them join a server.
 
I am all about RPG because it's a challenge. On a true rpg server, you find a level 140 and that's a great accomplishment. However now days all you have to do is purchase a bot and leave your computer on while you're at work/school and it will do everything for you...I don't know if society can become any lazier but I am sure it will.
 
Rpg = less members because people are lazy to explore and find things for themselves. Highrates = more members because people are lazy and like to get 100k levels in 10 minutes and kill things instantly.
 
This is why i am making an extremely custom ot, because i want no players, but i also want to be able to sleep at night knowing i made a good ot and not another high rate rl map <3

now that's the biggest oxymoron i've heard in a long time lol

RPG all the way, my game may have very few players but they all enjoy it for its originality rather than "ZOMG LVL 10000000", like levels matter after lvl 100? tibia wasn't designed for over lvl 100 and it's clearly worse in opentibia
