im hosting a friends server and it needs work, however i dont know how to script :(

I looked on forums but couldnt find anything, can someone please help learn how to script things or give me a link to a tutorial so i can learn.

Well, I learned scripting by practice... Try editing scripts and test them, so then you'll be able to make your own :)!
