Selling stacked items

Ok heres my prob I can sell multiple items if there is one pre slot, but if i stack them i can't. says i don't have that item.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
I have exactly the same problem.
It occurs in 0.3.5 (pl2?) and I am not planning on changing server versions.
