Something regarding experience stages

Why the hell do I see people having experience stages that go like this:

10 - 100 = x100
100 - 200 = x50
200 - 300 = x25


Ain't experience stages for balancing level gaining? In my opinion it should be:

10 - 100 = x25
100 - 200 = x50
200 - 300 = x100

So a level 200 can level as fast as a level 50.

All those above are just examples.What do you think?

I believe they should be decreasing by the level you reach as otherwise you would see people running around in their 1000's at all servers quite quickly.

I think it's not good because players will up lvl faster and dont have fun a lots of lvl 200+
