SQL connection problems

When i installed xampp and tried loading my server it gave me this error:

i set up everything in the config but when i tried to go to 127.0.0.1 this is what i got:

i dont know what i did wrong?

I dont see anything wrong in your apache server... -.-, well, your web folder is empty, thats it.

And about the database, are you sure that you at least have installed mysql server? ;s

well im not sure

what im gonna re download xampp so i can start fresh because what i did was i skip all the steps to set up xampp and i went strait to putting the files from gesior into the htdocs in xampp
