Strange error crashing my server? Error while loading playername

Error while saving player and then it crashes??
Any thoughts?

Someone told me that 0.4 makes me loose mysql connection is that true?

You have to review logs from the console and there should be more info about query that has failed.

And no, thats not the problem with 0.4 but your mysql.

then why did it start happening in 0.4? again, after being fixed in 0.3.3[?] (it was probably something different back then)

it may been broken somewhereafter adding some changes related to the mysql auto reconnection code, but from what I heard it has been already removed, so thats should not be the case, but I may be wrong.

Do you mean that revision is affected? I am using it since long time and didn't notified anything wrong.

Just saying, the last time I used different revs of 0.4 I couldn't get this fixed besides tweaking mysql endlessly and optimizing for both MyISAM and InnoDB (later on, I migrated to it)
Must've been the ipban thing, but I would lose connection even saving players sometimes

oh and, OS choice doesn't seem to play a major role here

so what you think i should do? Config Mysqlkeepalive or?

Ok ill scroll up next time it happens, note that i can still be logged on if i was so , but if im relogging i cant log on then it stays invalid account name or password..
