The samples is easy, just log in on each one of them and add the item on it (with your GOD character). Just give Sorcerer Sample a wand, Druid Sample a rod, etc.
For the temple positions, try to remove the space behind 'Thais'. If it doesn't work, can you please post your full config.php? Because I don't see anything wrong.
