Alright, so I was running a little low on space on my laptop so I compressed the drive. I thought nothing bad would happen once I compressed and all worked well until I rebooted.
Now I keep getting an error: TFGHT is compressed. Press CTRL - ALT - DEL to reboot.
There is no way to access safe mode even when I spam F8. So system restore is not an option.
For a situation like this I would normally repair the OS but I only have Windows XP and Ubuntu disks. I installed W7 from my network drive without a disk because I don't have any DVDs to burn on lol
So I put in my Ubuntu 9.04 disk and ran the live os looking for a way to try and solve the problem but with no success. I don't really know much about linux so can someone tell me if there is a way to fix this TFGHT problem through ubuntu.
Yes, I've tried Google and found nothing useful.
tl;dr
How does one fix TFGHT Compressed with Ubuntu without reinstalling W7.
If there really is no other option then I will reinstall but its just much more convenient for me to get this problem fixed without having to reinstall.
