i just started mapping week ago and i want to hear your tips if i want to create a new city which contains streets , temple , gardens,etc..? how can i make at as modern as i can?

Base it off real architecture and real streets to give you the shape.

If you want to make it seem modern, utilise the brick, plaster (framework wall) and maybe limestone walls, mix in the glass walls for larger or bay windows.
