[TOE] An Age of Empires tibia based project...

These days I woke up with an idea to do a tibia based on age of empires. It would basically start in a clean biome with absolutely no house, village, etc. The map would be easily generated by AI and the idea is for players to start from level 0 as "none" or any other name and basically pick up stones from quarries (normal walls of tibia), wood from trees, and build their own houses, villages, villages, castles. The players would be free to decide who would be the king of that village. With an interesting system of collecting taxes, rents, fees and whatever it takes to make it real. Players will be able to fish to sell fish in the trade or market, raise pigs, hunt deers to feed the village. No tibia magic would be used. I have vast knowledge in otserver I can easily carry out the entire project but I do not have the main "courage and will".

If you realize everything i mentioned up there we already have DONE on otservers distributions. Its just a matter of "adaptation"

If someone who really has SKILLS in tfs 1.4.2 and modules and wants to develop with me send a private message.

The main ideia is to use Hellgrave leaked base 1.4.2 when we have all crafting, mining and hunting modules and functions already done, only need to adapt some minor things.

I hope my ideia come true someday... Just a wish from a tibia player...

There is 1 core thing that is stopping you - map/progress persistence.
You need to be like Minecraft, and do chunks + IO save/load.
Not seeing it happening unless you have a lot of weeks to spend on, editing RME and TFS, maybe OTC too OR you have very big budget.
 
I wanted to give players the feeling of creating their own kingdom... Deciding what will happen in their city, summoning knights, paladins, sorcerers, and druids should be very hard... they will be needed to defend their base or go exploring, etc. It would really be a huge project. In my view, the idea would be very interesting for oldschool and charlover players, but as tofame said, it’s a very complex and delicate project. Even though there’s already a lot almost ready, basically enough for the core to work, the “polishing” part is really heavy. For these reasons, and out of a sincere desire to see this working, I’m looking for someone who would like to help.
