Trouble with explorer society quest

I had a litte problem when I was going to make the quest so I could hunt Sea Serpents.. The first quest where you gather fishes etc. worked fine but I cant get a hold of a Helmet of the deep since the explorer society quest doesnt work! So I was wondering if you could fix the quest or make like an npc who sells them.

Go to east side of liberty bay boats, say hi, calassa, yes, then say hi, trade, and then u buy the helmet of the deep, I have already tested this and worked fine
