Agree. Everyone is like way too obsessed with reputation, I honestly wonder why is that.

Rep is something you earn for your efforts and it is only for personal gratification (should be, at least), it is how people "thank" you for your help on what they needed, not something you beg them for just to get meaningless green squares below your name.
