ok so i wanted to switch from windows vista to something like ubuntu which requires you to use commands, and shit because i believe in the future does will be the pcs being used. i dont got much programming experience other than the basics ;p but i can learn, but anyway should i use ubuntu or another such as?

note: i dont play games on my pc for real maybe 30 mins every 5 days? so for gaming doesnt rly matter. im looking more for performance and ofc looks

Start with Ubuntu its the most 'noob-linux' friendly version you will find, with a sleek outlook and a very helpful community.
