Unknown map otbm

I get this error after editing map with Remere's map editor

Unknown Otbm version detected

whats wrong? the map was mapped in 8.40 rme and the ot is 8.40

What distrobution are you using? If tfs 0.2, I suggest you to change your map version to "(8.31)" in proportise.

i know this might sound noobish asking you, since it's your map that was released on otland here or sir shutters, thats the map i would like to edit more,

do you know whats wrong with it?

Umm tried both ways for 8.31 and 8.40 in preferencess and nothing..

Are u maping with rme? If yes, you save with Simones mapeditor, I had the same problem and it got solved like that.

and its done

in simones do i have to add all the missing npcs/monsters as well? or dont need to?
