It should be at config.lua, depending on which version you are using.

Well if u are using Forgotten, have a option on config.lua on your forgotten directory that makes u dont loose a ammo when atking..
on config.lua:
removeAmmoWhenUsingDistanceWeapon = "yes"
----
put No and should work

I dont think there is at 7.6, so you'll have to add it in sources.
