updating servers?

I am trying to get my old server (8.54-8.57) to become a 9.31. it was a great map but noone will play on it because of the client. can someone give me a link or somehow tell me how to update my whole server to become a 9.31

upgrade all manually (scripts,map-nd systems) it will take a lot of time but.. isnt impossible

Just download a regular 9.31 pack and change things but it may take hour or 2

What server is the 8.40? ie. TFS (Mystic Spirit) or TFS (Crying Damson) and what was the map based on. ie TFS, Roxor, DeadTouch, Eldinworld.
