Hello! My name is Francisco Fonseca, some of you may remember me or have heard about Rookgaard Tales. Today I'd like to introduce to OTLand Community my open tibia server! I've re-arranged Tibia for 13 years by now into a compact version server with all the features of real tibia, including custom ones. An unique main player city: Rookgaard. The develop story of this server began in 2007 when I was a teen, I never planned to have my server game online but due pandemic game has gone online since 21 June 2020. We are an stable server without resets or any major troubles.
The game it's hard dificulty and has nothing what the average Open Tibia Player is used to, so if you are a new Tibia player or casual Tibia player you probably won't like it. I dare to say it may even be harder than most of servers that claim to be hard nowdays. The game is full of mysteries and secrets, so I target old school retro players. We are a small but friendly community, and I'd like to invite you to be part of us. We have an efficient, trustful and respectful Gamemaster who takes care of the community.
The game has all real Tibia features with a lot of new custom features such as god summons, quests, raids, tasks, crafting, mining, custom items and many new systems. The world map is huge, most of the cool stuff is underground and if you want to take the challenge further you can travel into the "Dark World" an alternate diabolic world full of overwhelming creatures. You can also travel to other real tibia map zones such as Thais, Mintwallin, Isle of Kings and more surprises. Every creature in game has been buffed a little to make the game more challenging. The rates of experience and loot are x1 but if you are a good explorer you can find areas with custom creatures to rush your character experience and be ready for action real soon!
I've really put my heart into this project, with a lot of feedback from my players the server has grown slowly but surely, we now have the newest sprites from real tibia, including outfits, mounts, and items. Each one can be unlocked by doing quests.
The game has a Pay to Win Shop, yeah I know it sucks. But this was how project has survived, and surprisely I got a lot of support from my players. I cannot thank enough those players who gave their contributions since the beggining. BUT now, you can earn shop points by doing quests and hunting tasks. So it's totally optional to pay for your shop products. The game is %100 Free to Play.
What can I say? I know all the hard work all these years is not in vain, our game is designed to give you many hours of fun and long term life of your character. I promise you will have lots of fun in my world, and if you are a Cipsoft's Rookgaard player I know you will love it. The server is full RPG, we even have our own game lore, I hope you can take the time to read it.
