Improved accuracy for Health/Mana Regeneration visual representations by applying Restoration to it.

Adjusted Spinning Blades (and its variants) to follow your character in a more reasonable fashion.

Fixed an issue with Soul Fire where players didn't take damage from fire fields if they were hit by it first (Soul Fire).

Corrected a visual bug regarding Gold & AT upon using the Marketplace.

Allow Gatherers & Craftsman Backpack to be active on all 5 slots. The accumulated bonus are done via multiplication for less effect.

It is now capable of saving/loading item lists.

The ability to assign loot slot (one of your backpack slots) for each item.

Emblem runes can be recharged by simply right-clicking on them instead of visiting the NPCs.

Offers in the in-game store will be shown with a green border if you own it already, orange/gold if you can afford it, and red if you cannot afford it/or haven't unlocked previous perk for example.

Tooltip for labels has received a minor update (from brown to red background).

Fixed an issue with the Quest Log where entries weren't always parsed correctly.



Removed from previous patch notes (Due to balance concerns)

Attacks that are capable of bouncing around (i.e. Ricochet, Sunfire Missile) can now hit the same target several times (in case of there not being anyone around).

A little update from our team <3

The last 28 hours have obviously not gone how we would of liked. What we felt was an expansion we were very prepared for, went sideways due to many factors we could not control, but in the future will do a heck of a better job for-seeing.

It's been an emotional rollercoaster for our team. We significantly broke and passed all previous records for character creation, and up to launch we were shaping up to easily break 1000 concurrent. That exceptional high came with a huge low, having website issues and latency issues ingame. While these weren't too severe for NA players (however being very annoying and making it difficult to play), this was exponential for our south american player base, making the game entirely unplayable for 99% of them.

This breaks our heart when we worked so hard, and there was so much hype leading in. But we will recapture that. We have sent out word to alot of our partners with groups of 100+ following them to Archlight that majority of the latency issues have been resolved, and we are hard at work solving the last issues. Our entire teams main focus is solving these issues and other minor but urgent bugs that may pop up.

Unfortunately this put a huge wrench in our plans and timelines and so we have had to delay some things on our end. This is the planned timeline for the following features, we believe some we may deliver before the timeline, but we want to air on the side of caution to ensure we can deliver these timelines.

As a team we're very disappointed and bummed out in the last 28 hours, none of us enjoy working 24+ hours straight, going 24+ hours without food, and not being able to simply enjoy everyones excitement during a new season. Global Potions can now be found in Dungeon & Quest Boxes (Very Rare Drop Chance)
At the end of every Guild Siege week, the top 3 guilds will receive Golden & Blue Siege Wings based on their placement in the Guild Siege. If they place lower the next week, they will lose their wings and another guild will obtain them.

Pumpkins are obtained by completing dungeons (they are inside dungeon boxes as an additional 4th reward). Unlike past events, you cannot purchase the event currency with LAT's and can only obtain them by playing.

We have reworked the logic of bonus monster essence bonus weekends, it will no longer apply all the multiplications of other monster essence bonuses to it, meaning the top 10% of players will not benefit more than everyone else like it was previously. Everyone will benefit the same boost from this event now!



Catch-Up Pouches are now obtained from Dungeons!

This is implemented 1 week earlier than usual to help the large influx of SA players that are back playing with more controlled ping!

These were meant be added in the past, but the NPC's weren't properly added into the game. They are now available. Each task will yield a solid amount of Artifact Experience that can be done every 48 hours. This will help move Artifact Exp along faster without the need to grind creatures for as long.

This server is great, really liking the new updates and new vocations.

I just can't get over one aspect of this game, why is this still p2w?

I think this server would be amazing and a lot of people would be willing to pay a monthly subscription to play. I believe it has been suggested before, to make Premium to somewhat RL premium. Basically, anything after awakening should require premium account but in return removing all of the p2w aspect of this game.

Furthemore, it would be amazing if most of the rewards from tasks and other obtainable outfit / mount items etc. would be account bounded - this would mean everyone has to go through 'the grind' and not have numerous MCs doing the 'boring' tasks for them.

Removing the item shop from the game would extend the general length of a season by slowing down progression and taking the opportunity for people who invested a lot of money into this game to skip some of the game phases which currently happens due to the (ab)use of donation store. One of the examples would be people not running with fully mastered stats from the beginning of the server.

It feels quite frustrating when you try to grind for a whole day doing different quests, tasks and professions, and you power ends up going from 1.54k to 1.58, or could just donate few bucks and buy stats - you know the drill.

To sum up and not write an essay, the game is a pure grind and it feels amazing, however the deciding factor of how much power we have should not be based on how much money we have donated. I would love to propose an idea for a new server which would require subscription but all of the p2w aspects would be removed, but at the same time I do understand that you decided to have a different business 'scheme' and would never implement such server.
 
Fact is they make sooooo much money from big donors that a monthly thing just isnt worth it. So ya u got 1k players willing to pay 10$ a month thats 10,000$. They got single players willing to do that in the first month or 2 alone. The numbers just dont add up. They just cant turn down that kinda money to make the f2players happy.

Archlight Battlegrounds & Arenas

Battlegrounds and Arenas are now available to play.

Archlight Battlegrounds are a new that allows guilds to challenge eachother on a completely level playing field. Guild Leaders and Vice Leaders can simply pull up a UI window, input the opposing guilds name, and then fully configure the exact balance you want the battle to entail. Once you have fully customized the battle parameters, the invitation will be sent to the opposing guild, if/when they accept, a 15 minute countdown will start, at which time those guilds can enter the battleground and start preparing for battle.

You can set anything from a wager (comes from the guild banks), equipment skills/resistances, gems, rune upgrades, respawn time... And more!

To save time if you dont have specific preferences for the battleground, you can simply use the presets available - Novice, Adept, Expert, Master - To have all the custom presets filled out based on roughly that stage of the game.

Currently there is 1 battleground map available, 2 more will be available in a near future patch.

We have also released a fully balanced 3v3 Arena System (with 3 different available maps) where players will be scaled based on a pre-set balance, this system will indeed have a ranking system and leaderboard ranks to show the highest skilled 3v3 players. Partner up with 2 friends, 2 randoms, and create a ranked Arena team.

At the end of every week (Sunday midnight server time) the top 3 Arena Teams will receive a pair of Arena Wings based on their rank.

A unique reward system will also be added to Archlight 3v3 Arena's as well. Every season players will be able to join teams with 2 other players, in which they will compete on a Rated Arena system. The top rated teams will obtain exclusive Heirloom Mounts based on their rank. The higher rank, the more valuable exclusive they will obtain. Every season new exclusive mounts will be added as that seasons Heirloom from the Rated Arena.

We will also be planning weekly prizepooled tournaments in the future for Arena that everyone can partake in (again, all characters are balanced, so all that matters is the more skillful team/players). We will start planning these out once we feel the Arena system is fully polished and ready for a competitive league/tournaments. More on that to come later.

The nodes found in the Jorus Quest are no longer the same as the ones you find in the Iceforged Quest, which means you can collect two extra nodes.



Items

Forsaken/Demonforged pieces can now be polished.

Fishing net can be equipped in the ring slot. It has the ability to fish twice, yields +20 Fishing, and it has a 3% chance to break.

Pits of Archlight, Iceforged and Misty Mountains have all had Mentor/Mentee Tokens added for.



Farming

Plants will decay after 8 hours now.



Ramparts

Players needs to be awakening level 1 or higher to enter.

Monsters can push items now.



Quests Fixes

Blood Quest


Players that may have gotten stuck behind the mirror can now use it from the other side.



Iceforged/Cooking up a Storm

It should no longer be possible to prevent monsters from spawning by stepping on specific tiles.



Succubus Quest

Fixed an issue where roses could not be sacrificed.



Earth Rift

Two of the instances allowed magic wall/wild growth runes to be used.



Summons (belonging to monsters)

They will now teleport to their master if they get too far away.



Client

Fixed improper offset for Pumpkin Wings and one of the Cerberus mounts.

Fixed an issue with the Recharge Rune function.

Hades Outfit now properly gives all the addons when added and its mount sprite got fixed. We will also make sure this is pushed to all existing Hades Outfits as well.

Dracona's new season was originally planned to be around May 1st or 8th, however, with light of how many are isolated due to Corona, and the constant requests to launch Dracona earlier, we decided to do a poll and leave it up to the community to decide.

We have decided that Dracona will enter it's new season on April 17th with an overwhelming 850 of the over 1000! (1016) votes casted voting for this date!

Dracona Going Down For Maintenance

The Dracona Server will be down for maintenance to prepare for the new season tomorrow at the same time we patch Avuria & Ildar. If you are wanting to use any items to boost your power for heirloom rewards for the new season, make sure you do so before tomorrows maintenance!

Avuria ended up being a much bigger success than anyone from our team expected, further growing our community by a large amount. This has vastly been a new community coming in to play Archlight with no-bot, however, the large existing group of our community still enjoy the traditional Archlight they have enjoyed for 5 years now. Despite that, there are many changes that the traditional Archlight group loved on Avuria, that we will be bringing over to Dracona to make it an even better experience!



Server Location Moved, Improved Ping & Server Infrastructure

We have moved our Dracona Server location from Montreal to Miami Florida, further reducing ping for South American & American players alike! Additionally, these being stronger servers allows for more stable experience.



Lowered Experience Rates

Due to another overwhelming community vote, we will be lowering experience rates on Dracona to make it a much more engaging and natural progression experience, instead of the incredibly expedited experience we have now. These lower rates will primarily affect Awakening and above.



Monster Essences now automatic on Dracona & Ildar

Monster Essences have a quite obnoxious system of forcing the player to solve math problems the entire day or not gain what is a very relevant form of progression. We have decided that this method does not feel right on Dracona and Ildar. We have removed the math problems of monster essences and they will now be obtained automatically like they are on Avuria. However, because of the ability to use a bot on Dracona & Ildar, their chance of being obtained has been lowered by 75% and their yield has been slightly lowered as well.

Achievement Point Races For Exclusive Cosmetic

We will be having an achievement point race on Dracona to the first 25 players to reach 300 Achievement Points. These first 25 players will receive an exclusive, heirloom & cross-server T4 Ghostly Illumination Aura! Additionally, we will have a Achievement Point race for the first 250 players to 200 Achievement Points, each of which will receive a exclusive & heirloom T3 Magma Illumination Aura!



New Content Coming to Avuria, Dracona & Ildar

As premium has been removed from the game, the former premium island has had a major update. Triple in size, large reworks to nearly every part of the island, over a dozen new added creatures, all creatures rebalanced the new game region Hideout Shores will be a massive chunk of new content available between otherworlds and forgotten islands strength, however access to challenge this new area and what it has to offer will be obtained by completing the Jorus Story Quest. But that's not all. The tasks on the newly revampped island will yield Large Stat Stones as opposed to regular stat stones for their completion!

Premium Removed From Game, Replaced With ArchPass

We feel the Premium method we've had for 5 years has become outdated and after some discussion decided to fully remove Premium from Archlight. In replacement, we are implementing a season pass system called the ArchPass. The ArchPass itself is available for all players. Each ArchPass has 3 month cycles. During this cycle at anytime, you can upgrade your pass to a Premium ArchPass, allowing you to get several additional rewards when you progress your pass, including 4 unique cosmetics. These cosmetics have NO passive benefits to them, and are purely for showing off.

In the first season of the ArchPass you will be able to obtain a Samurai Outfit, New Samurai Expansion Mount, Illumination Aura and a Shogun Outfit.

The Premium ArchPass lasts 3 months (or full one ArchPass Season), and is equivalent to the cost of 3 months~ of premium, as mention directly replacing it.



How the ArchPass Works

The purpose of the ArchPass is to introduce different progression elements of Archlight - Test of Skill/Strength, Energy/Gathering, Crafting, Events, World Bosses, Dungeons, Quests & More! - In an all in one system. Additionally, the rewards from completing ArchPass levels will be able to be used to further progress your character.

Rift Weapon Cost Lowered

Rift Weapons have had little to no role in Archlight for quite some time, due to not only it's cost, but also how fast early progress is made on Archlight in standard Ildar/Dracona seasons. However, with Avuria these levels will be much slower, and even incremental gear progression will be incredibly valuable. Due to this, we have adjusted the Rift Weapon cost from

Incantation Scrolls & Glass of Rift Goo's (the largest barrier to obtaining rift weapons) will now be turned in for awakening experience to the rare goods collector.



Gathering Experience Changes

The Gathering Experience Formula has been drastically reworked. Now, experience obtained from crafting and gathering will be significantly lower Pre-Awakening Levels (1-1500), however, it will be higher in Post-Awakened Levels where the experience felt virtually completely irrelevant. No more concerns of players grabbing a fishing rod and fishing 1-1000 on opening day.

New Samurai Class

The Samurai is a new tank-dps hybrid class coming to Archlight 2. The Samurai primarily uses a 2 handed katana, allowing the Samurai to channel different abilities and elements through their Katana, changing their next attack. The Samurai has a unique resource however that further channels the power of spells executed through his blade called Qi (chi). Every 5 seconds, the Samurai obtains Qi, allowing the Samurai to further empower the next ability used. This is not a stackable resource. Each ability has a 30 second cooldown of it's Qi use, meaning you cannot use the same ability with Qi and will have to cleverly time your ability use to make the most out of your Qi.

Cyclone Blade - Makes the next attack by the Samurai whirlwind hitting all creatures around the Samurai.

Cyclone Blade Qi - Makes the next attack by the Samurai whirlwind hitting all creatures within a 5 square region around The Samurai.

Venomed Wakasashi - Stabs the target with offhand katana dealing damage, slowing and poisoning the target.

Venomed Wakasashi Qi - Stabs the target with offhand katana dealing heavy damage, significantly slowing and applying a more lethal poison to the target.

The Samurai has 2 Awakened Spec's like all classes being the Shogun (A Group/Tank Focused Spec) and the Ronin (A More Solo Oriented/Assassin Spec)

The Samurai's Legendary Spell - Dragon Spirit - Will allow the Samurai to use unlimited Qi for 10 seconds of combat, not being limited to 1 Qi every 6 seconds.

Over 800 Characters made already for Launch, and we still got days to go! What the fuck are you waiting for, not like you're going outside lets be real. This is Quanratine Season! You are permitted to leave your home to purchase energy drinks and that is all.

But on the real, stay safe everyone, where i'm from hasn't had it nearly a 10th as bad as most places around the world, so hope you all are barrelling through this <3

For now, we are applying balances to 4 classes. We have several other classes we also are working on balances for, however, these are the 4 that will be on launch, any others will come in a future patch once we have finalised & tested any changes.

Archer

Base Attack Speed increased by 10%

All Spell Damage has been buffed by around 15% (As well as the changes below)

Perfect shot Paralyze changed from 2 seconds to 5 seconds based on the awakening level of the spell

Focused Shot's DoT has been significantly buffed to match the damage the spell does on initial hit for 3 ticks afterwards

Holy Blessing's minimum heal value has been increased by 15% helping with early game sustain

Energy arrow spray range increased to 4 SQM & the damage has been buffed by 50%

Flame arrow spray damage increased by 100%

Earth and Ice arrow spray have been removed for now as they aren't used and we dont feel they add any extra value to the class, we may bring these back reworked in the future

Exploding Spear Damage increased by 15%

Mega Exploding Spear Damage increased by 25%

Snaring Shot Damage increased by 25% and paralyze duration increased from 2 seconds to 4 seconds

Legendary spell changed from Support spelltype to Attack this will now be effected by Attack Spell Cool-down reduction effects of Forest Gems

Soul Rune T1 and T2 will no longer takes into account weapon attack numbers to be more in line with other vocations runes and balance the extremely high end game scaling

Hell Artifact increases duration of paralyze effect from 2 to 4 seconds when using Quad Shot

Sorcerer

Silver Mage Rune's minimum healing increased by 15%

Hells Core damage increased by 30%

Rage of the skies damage increased by 30

Dragon Breathe cooldown reduced from 8 to 4 seconds.

Vortex Breathe cooldown reduced from 8 to 4 seconds.

Thunder shock DoT damage increased by 40%

Rogue

Increased base attack speed by 5%

Increased base attack damage by 10%

Base HP pool increased by 10 hp per base lvl 150 each now level instead of 140

Shiv reduced to 2 second CD from 3 and threat reduction percentage increased 6% from 3%

Soul rune T1 and T2 damage increased by 10%

Throwing knife damage increased by 30% dmg

Viperfang DoT damage increased by 300%

Fan of Knives DoT damage reduced by 25%

Shadowfang - Fixed bug with awakening points scaling the healing effect beyond 10 along with the damage, allowing players to almost fully heal at higher levels. Only damage scales after 10 awakening spell points.

Corsair

Auto Attack Speed increased by 20%

Dead Eye Damage increased by 150%

Explosive Shot DoT damage increased by 300%

Soul rune Hit interval/Animation Frequency decreased by 50%

Cannon Barrage Hit interval/Animation Frequency decreased by 50%

Second Wave Hit interval/Animation Frequency decreased by 50%

Gauss Barrel awakening paralyze effect now functions like T3 grasping for paralyze strength lasting 2 seconds on target.

Flask of Gin Cooldown lowered from 60 seconds to 45 seconds

Extra shot of Gin Cooldown lowered from 60 seconds to 45 seconds

Hideout Shores Content Released

Triple in size, large reworks to nearly every part of the island, over a dozen new added creatures, all creatures rebalanced.

The new game region Hideout Shores will be a massive chunk of new content available between otherworlds and forgotten islands strength, however access to challenge this new area and what it has to offer will be obtained by completing the Jorus Story Quest.

But that's not all. The tasks on the newly revampped island will yield Large Stat Stones as opposed to regular stat stones for their completion!

Awakening System Revamp

Each skill now has 4 available awakening effects, 1 guaranteed and then 3 for a player to choose to further awaken.

Players can now choose between 12 different skills (10 spells, soul rune & auto attack) instead of just the previous 5. However only 5 skills can be awakened at a time, but these can be changed anytime not in combat. This will allow for over 364 new combinations on how you play your class!​
