Just a general note of accreditation
The owners of ROA have created several successful OTs prior to ROA and
I'm sure many people can recognize the names of said OTs. Admin Death(owner of ROA) has hosted OTChaos and Deathzot which have been popular with many players.

Rise of Abbadon has been under development for 3 months. We have had a large beta crew and we feel the server is ready for players now Thursday Jul 31st.

Rise of Abbadon is a rpg type server.

RiseOfAbbadon

The server has been wiped for a fresh start and for the upgrade to client 8.4 It is now hosted on a fiber optics
connection and a professional grade hosting machine.

The Equipment System
There are seven tiers for equipment and the upgrade system can be activated by typing "!upgrade". There's a small chance of successfully upgrading equipment but getting higher tiers of equipment always allows your character to progress more easily as higher tiers of equipment not only adds armor but also overall damage reduction.
Example: You have a tier 2 item, let's say it's a T2 armor and you don't need it. You decide to attempt an upgrade on it and it has a good chance of being destroyed but if it's successful you get T3 armor.

Lumberjacking
To become a lumberjack all you need is level 5 and a hatchet which can be obtained by looting skeletons. You can cut trees with hatchets to get woodcutting documents but you can only do this once every five minutes. There are npcs in each town to convert lumberjacking documents into lumberjacking tokens. Using these tokens players can get tier 1 and tier 2 equipment from the designated npcs in each town. Tier 1 costs 5 lumberjacking tokens per piece and tier 2 costs 10 lumberjacking tokens per piece. This way patient players can be rewarded.

Rook
On rook you should get level 8 off of monsters which shouldn't be too hard. Rook difficulty was reduced due to popular demand. Once you're level 8 take a sword hilt(which can be found inside troll bodies) to the npc Alisth who is located near the temple where you start out. Alisth will give you a feather for the sword hilt and you should proceed to click the feather once you've obtained it and doing so will result in you being teleported to an island where you may choose one of four vocations: hunter, druid, sorcerer, and warrior. All the vocations are very accurate to their descriptions and months of work has been put into balancing these servers. Once you've chosen your vocation you are teleported back to rook because your journey is not over yet. Now it is time for you to slay the mighty rook boss named "Demo". It isn't too hard to kill but it's recommended you go in with a friend if you're afraid you might die. To find Demo go into the main hunting west of town walls and then go all the way south east until you find skeletons/wolves. From here just explore a bit... If you find larvas or rotworms you're going the wrong way. If you find skeletons and a small ghoul spawn you're going the right way. In the cave below the small ghoul/skeleton spawn you'll drop down and go all the way north to eventually fight demo and it has a 100% chance to drop an ancient rune. Once you've obtained the ancient rune go back to the building where wolves and skeletons spawn close to each other, go to the upper floor and talk to the skeleton npc named Milly. Say "rune", "yes" and you get a soul container for the rune. Now take the rune to the GOA Guard NPC in town. As soon as you get "inside town" through the ramps and etc. go directly south to reach the npc. Now trade your soul container for a passport scroll to Gridwall and click the scroll to go to main.

Although there are many vocations on ROA there is a good balance between the vocations because the owners worked on the server for months. There are many vocations that can make unique runes/amulets/rings/scrolls, etc. so be sure to have friends of different vocations so you can have varied supplies at your disposal.

Some Notes:
- It's running on TFS right now so it has a problem with looking at tier items, it will cause you to debug. I've had tier items for a long time and I can safely say that I've never looked at them. If you need to get the stats of an item just ask one of the old players.
