uxtheme.dll/explorer.exe WINDOWS F*CKED

yeah I was dumb enough not to make a backup, but it doesn't I still can't replace it
explorer.exe won't start.. basically nothing works but i still manage to start firefox through an error prompt link.. xD

anyway I browsed to cmd.exe in firefox and wrote sfc /scannow and it just says scan won't start, i've tried to boot with the vista dvd (to repair) and nothing happens

should i change some bios bootup priority setting?

thankful for any help...

if worst comes to worst you can always create a windows 7 boot disk from another computer and boot from disk on startup, dunno why the vista disk wouldnt work though...

Yeah try to go to your bios and set the bootoption to first boot from dvd. See if he can launch the dvd then.

how about starting the pc in safe mode, mby some new program you downloaded causes it?? ..

it won't start in safe mode.. lol

it gets stuck on loading windows files

Otherwise you could open the Activity handler and press "New activity" or something, in sweden it is "Ny aktivitet". Type in "explorer.exe"...

didn't I already say explorer.exe wouldn't start? oh and I tried starting task manager actually but it wouldn't start, guess why? because explorer.exe didn't work
