I've been having lamb/chicken and prawn vindaloos for a gopd year now- find them really tasty :>. The restaurants even doctor them with extra chillies e.g ghost chilli etc

Personally i don't find them hot enough.. Has anyone tried a phal? Is it a large difference? Since the last 2 restaurants said they want me to sign a disclaimer before i have one and obviously i dont want to spend the £10 on a meal i wont enjoy.

I have always been highly tolerate to spicy dishes.. A vindaloo is probably my equivalant to your jalfrezi if you arent very tolerant..

Funny things is, i dont regret a vindaloo in the morning :p

But any who have had a phal, rate it out of 10 in comparason to a vindaloo..

Regards

Maybe (: i know ppl say milk takes the sting, i guess i might as well try it.. Its £10 with rice and at least then i know :p
Wish me luck next week :p

You're not going to die unless if you're allergic or completely overdose.

Na i know but ive seen ppls noses bleeding etc xD and these are people who have eaten chillies like the butch T scorpion lmao

I can handle a vindaloo quite well. I'd try a Phal but I reckon it would probably beat me. Have you ever seen Man V Food? Some of the spicy food he eats on that looks really intense.

Yh im like you, vindaloos are tame for me (: amd actually have alot of flavour xD

But from what ive seen and heard about a phal is ridiculous lol. Apparently some chefs cook them with gas masks because the fumes/vapour burns their eyes lmao.. But as i said, it may be worth £10 to find out xD

And to anyone who claims - hot dishes ruin flavour are wrong.

Yeah I've seen chefs on TV cooking them with gloves and gas masks on, haha. And you're right about hot dishes ruining flavour. you get the flavours just with a lot of added heat.
