Vista IP Changer Problem?

Hello, I just got my new laptop today, the operative system is Vista Home Edition. My problem is the following. I have downloaded Tibia 8.21 and both, Talaturen's IP Changer and Asprate's IP Changer. But when I do change the ip, it says "the ip was successfully changed" but the ip doesnt even change. Is this because I use vista? Can't I play on 8.21 server because of this?

Using vista ultimate here, and i have no problems.
Make sure you have the ip and port set correctly.

Oh and if you have uac turned on try turning it off
uac= User Account Control

UAC? What is that, and on what IP Changer? I think the problem lies in my computer, do I need like a certain Net Framework to you such progams? Because I tried and sometimes non of them would even work. Maybe I havent installed the drivers correctly..

Try to run the program as administrator, then it works for me.

Just right click, properties, search a bit there and you will find "run program with administrator rights" or something like that :p
