VPS question of bandwith/monthly

Hello, I am wanting to know how many players for months I could get into a server that has an Internet 10MB of me and the 200GB or 500GB of transfer, thank you,

Hmm, well depends on the computer too. The owner of 1337.hopto.org only had a lil bit lag when he had 350 ~~ players online, and he has 10MB internet and 1gb ram etc...

Well its all about math really, each character supposedly uses 2KB/s (if i remember it correctly), which means that if 1 character plays 24/7 for a whole month, it would require 5,184MB, thus 200GB monthly bandwidth would be able to host 38 players playing 24/7 for a whole month, while 500GB would be able to host 96 players playing 24/7 for a whole month.

So that's without lag, but a little bit lag wouldn't hurt either, more players will be more fun ^^ but as I mentioned before, it depends on your computer too. 100mbts is just a waste to buy if you ask me if you're just thinking of hosting ot servers. Anyway, good luck

Well thanks to those who helped me so far but I have another perginta, there is more of the experience of each on a server that in the peak time is 70 players with a band of 500MB/Mes how many players it would be possible for?
