Hey guys, I know too few or absolutely nothing about domains.


I'd like to have a redirect like this.

mysite.com to 69.20.12.11

I heard I could buy a domain, but I don't really understand that since domain comes with email transfers, hosting space and other things.


Summaryzing
All I'd like is instead of mysite.servegame.com , mysite.com.

Can anyone tell me how this works and if possible tell me a great company.

Open port 80, and make sure that you have activated your domain with the respective company.

Go to the website of whatever company you bought the domain from, go into domain control panel, and redirect the domain name to your IP/DNS.

Just buy a domain and hosting.

If u are hoster u can't conect with the ip, u must use localhost
I think. cause i can't too, i use localhost
