Hello,

I was searching long for a laptop since mine hp compaq nc2400 comes to his end soon..

I am going to buy a hp compaq 8510w with 4gb and 200gb

Any suggestions?

Just develop ot, browsing etc. Im not thst gamer with shoop da whoop graphics

Get a Dell inspiron or something like that, you really dont need a quadro GPU if you do simple things.

My first hp computer is about 6-7 years old and still runs good when I need a server computer, 4gb ram 500gb hdd and nothing has broken with it.
Ive had about 4 hp laptops, none of them have broke except that 2 I broke the screen on by dropping them in the floor, 1 I spilld whisky over.

Tbh I only buy hp products if I need a laptop, if its a tower computer I build them myself.

My first hp had this nasty problem with the GPU(I asked around and found it was common among the series). The other HP I got was heating up so much that it was uncomfortable to use the keyboard. The other one had a lousy hard drive that lasted very little and all the time I get HP computers that need servicing and parts replacement. Could be the different continents we live in, SA get lousy machines and EU get the nice ones :P

I buy nothing but Dell laptops and its the only thing I recommend.

Well can't say anything about those problems except the overheating, what most people do is never clean the computers, ive never had any of my computers overheat or even get close to that temp, and with the computer I run atm I got 4 tibia clients on, xampp, about 10-13 tabs in chrome, notepad++, webocton, tfs, xampp, teamspeak, spotify, rme x 2, one with my custom server and one with my rlmap project.

Make sure you replace the cooling paste to a good quality one, not the cheap crap and use an oil-less air compressor with a 1/4 air gun to blow out all the dust, bigger then 1/4 and you risk destroing the components.
I blow out all my computers and my families about ever 2 months.
My hp proliant rack server I blow out every 2 weeks if they are running.
