What would you like to see in a hosting service? - VPS-Unlimited under development

Hey there Otland,
So I am currently starting to re-work my Hosting Service VPS-Unlimited which I mainly offered for OTS-Hosting. This time I am offer it as an overall hosting service including OTS-Hosting. I am currently looking to improve my hosting service as good as possible and whilest I am not any good at programming I will still try to add any useful ideas you give me

Currently planned features:
- Prepaid hosting - no recurring fees (Server expires automaticly)
- Server ready to use within 24 hours (This is something I can't chane until I get bigger as I need to manually get the servers from my provider I cooperate with)
- Linux + Windows Servers
- Webpanel (for linux only) with start/stop/re-install option as well as Monitoring CPU Usage and Bandwith
+ One-click VPS Image for
a) Webserver (nginx)
b) WordPress
c) OTS (frequently used TFS versions, pre-compiled) + Website (Znote AAC)
d) Teamspeak
e) Gameserver (not sure about this yet)
- Billing system via PayPal (possibly paysafecard and more payments added if i go with paymentwall)
- Ticketsupport (possibly Skype)

I had no good experience using live chat thus I will limit it to ticket-support + skype I guess. Also when im not at home I am quite often on skype on my phone whilest a live-chat software which supports phones and is free (as my budget is very limited for now) is not available as far as I know. If I have earned some money and there exists a software which fits my needs I might consider investing in it.

Just some heads up how it could look like
I've finally found a way how I could realize a control panel for my customers and currently trying to find a way to automize the installations for the "one click installations"

I'm currently trying out a customer access area. Would you like such a feature included in the hosting service or would you rather want to keep it all anonymous like before (meaning you are taken to payment gateaway, and after payment you will be sent a mail with server information and thats about it) ?

The Customer access area would offers you the chance to see when your server will expire and allows you easy cancellation with the click of a button.

Unfortunately the whole project will be delayed if not discarded. I am currently investigating some legal aspects aswell as evaluating the time investment compared to the profit I'd make. As of now it seems that it won't yield enough profit to be worth the time if I decide to keep the prices of the VPSs around last launches prices. If I rise them however, many people will get upset or unhappy and will be looking for cheaper offers again. Don't get me wrong I am not out for the profit only but also for providing you with fairly priced VPSs coming with good performance. Nonetheless this project was also meant to yield me some money as I have recently graduated from school and want to go on a Work&Travel trip in about half a year. Without a doubt I have a lot of free time at the moment as I don't have school anymore, however I feel like Id waste this free time if I were to work on thid project any longer. I have had set various goals for myself, which I want to achieve in this half year of freetime I have and there are others such as learning frontend/backend coding and developing a game which seem much more interesting to invest my time in. Surely they don't yield any money at all but these are just some life goals I want to achieve and this is acctually something I can put in my curriculum vitae if I apply for some job or university. Also a university focused on gamedesign I may want to attend encourages its applicants to apply with a selfmade game if possible. That's basicly it. You might have heard the word "money" quite alot now and may think of me kinda greedy but it is an undenyable fact, that I will need some money to travel around the world and unfortunately the vps hosting won't be of any use the way I see it
So let's say the development of this is on hold until I have entirely made up my mind.

The OT community isn't 16 year olds anymore, we're grown up, we all need to make a few $$ for our time. We all do it for much cheaper here because we have a passion for the OT community, but making a profit for your time is still important, even if it isn't big, so i understand your decision

Added feature to simply resell your VPS/Server (if you dont want it anymore) to another user/person using an automated system transfering the amount of money directly to the sellers paypal account.

Something like this would require some sort of interface. Maybe you would be interested in designing it for OtLand?

Something like this would require some sort of interface. Maybe you would be interested in designing it for OtLand?
