My previous PC could compile tfs in like 1 minute 20 seconds which was way too long, my current pc and laptop can compile in 20-30 seconds which is reasonable.

This was essentially my setup a couple of years ago, even the same PSU power (750W) and quality label (Bronze).
I've also stopped playing games, but might be back, lol. Especially interested in getting a Steam Deck for emulation gameplay and so I can separate work and gameplay.

Since then I've upgraded to an i9-9900k and an RTX 3080 10GB (budget RTX 3080).
Helps dramatically with compilation times and the GPU with training time for my AI models.
Also my monitor eventually died around the same time I decided to upgrade the CPU and now got an 49" Samsung Odyssey, 120HZ split screen, 240HZ single screen mode for potential gaming.
